Hello Stargazer, Disclosure won't happen in the sky above, but the sky within. You know that feeling you get when you're out in the middle of nowhere on a moonless night and you look up to the sky and your first thought is... "Goddamn—that's a lot of stars!" That's how I see disclosure during the age of Pluto in Aquarius. Only instead of light pollution covering up the light in the night sky, it's a century of mass deception covering up the light in your soul. And next year, Pluto in Aquarius gets backup from the entire transpersonal squad when Uranus enters Gemini and Neptune enters Aries. I'm not predicting that next year is the Great Awakening when all secrets will be revealed and everyone breaks out of the Matrix. But if I had to bet on the exact year when most people realize that their conspiracy theorist friends were telling the truth all along... ...then I'd put my money on 2025. Here's why. Pluto is the Lord of the Underworld, keeper of buried secrets who rules rebirth and transformation. When Pluto's Grecian counterpart Hades abducted Persephone, the only daughter of Demeter and Zeus, so that the young maiden could rule with him as Queen of the Underworld, it caused a global crisis so severe that it threatened the very existence of humankind. After Demeter learned that Zeus had conspired with Hades in Persephone's abduction, she felt the ache of betrayal so deep that she killed the harvest and stopped the earth from fruiting until Persephone was returned to her. It was through the careful and cunning intervention of both Hermes and Hecate that Zeus eventually consented, seeing that humankind would eventual die of mass starvation if they couldn't harvest the soil. But there was one problem. Persephone had already tasted the food of Hades by eating a handful of pomegranate seeds, and this meant that part of her soul was bound to remain in the Underworld. To maintain balance between the above and below, a deal was made for Persephone to spend half of the year with her husband in the underworld, and the other half with her mother Demeter on Olympus. There's a striking similarity between the myth of Hades and Persephone (or Pluto and Prosperina) and the origins of Aquarius. Aquarius is the cup bearer to the gods, human in nature but blessed by divine influence. The star sign Aquarius (the Cup-Bearer) is actually part of the larger star cluster that includes neighboring constellation Aquila (the Eagle), with the Cup-Bearer depicted in the clutches of the Eagle's talons. The Aquarius-Aquila constellation depicts the moment when Zeus' eagle abducted Ganymede, a shepherd boy from Troy with beauty so divine that Zeus fell in love at first sight. On Olympus, Zeus gave Ganymede the position of cupbearer for the gods, promising eternal youth and immortality for the boy's service... ...while on Earth, Zeus compensated Ganymede's father Tros with two horses delivered by Hermes, who also consoled the grieving father by reminding him that his son held a position of high repute for eternity. Not to get all Aquarian on you—but it seems that Demeter got a much better deal with Persephone than Ganymede's father with his own son. Demeter caused mass starvation and threatened the survival of humankind in retaliation to Zeus' conspiracy with Hades to abduct Persephone. But due to her privileged position on Olympus, Demeter never faced punishment. She even got her way. Did the mothers who watched their children die from starvation during Demeter's famine get shown the same mercy? And did Ganymede ever wonder why Persephone gets to see her mom for half the year while he must remain by Zeus' side for all eternity? Disclosure won't happen in the sky above, but the sky within. Aquarius, the sky's most enduring symbol of autonomy and individuality, is actually trapped in the clutches of Zeus' eagle and bound to the will of the gods for eternity. As the sign representative of technology and innovation, the ensnarement of Aquarius presents a black mirror that reflects the truth about humanity's enslavement to its own progress. Progress is a double edged sword. Part Faustian bargain, part Golem narrative, progress keeps humanity on the razor's edge between illumination and annihilation. Pluto in Aquarius is here to destroy all romantic ideals about the sign of the cupbearer. The cupbearer has no free will. Immortality liberated him from death but enslaved him to gods. Pluto's 20 year transit in Aquarius has the power to sever the ties that bind you to the antiquated Aquarian Age myth of the progress.
