Hello Stargazer,

Gotta say, this year packed a MUCH bigger punch than either Andrei or I anticipated.

The good news is that we’re getting back in the saddle again—but slowly, so pretty please don’t expect any miracles from us. We’re only human.

But for now, as we train to get back into full gear, Andrei and I decided to treat you to an email + podcast series on The 7 Deadly Sins of Doing What You Love For a Living.

This evolved out of our mutual love of the Kill Bill movies and the fact that they’re pretty much the only thing that’s got us through burnout this year.

And as we watched both films back-to-back, we saw a bit of ourselves, the changes we’ve undergone since launching Aeolian Heart Astrology 10 years ago, and the compromises that we’ve had to make to keep it afloat.

But that’s not all that we noticed. Beyond our usually “Who’s Venus? Who’s Mars? Which one’s the Virgo? And which one’s the Gemini?” game we play with all our favorite characters in every movie we watch…

…we started to read a little deeper, and find not just harmony with the cosmos but order with natural law.

And what developed before us was not just one of the best revenge stories of all time, but one of the great redemption tales of the ages.

Both films serve not just as a meditation of the fragility of the heart and the fortitude of the will…

…but as an allegory for the nature of sin, damnation, and redemption.

Which is why we decided to publish this series that doesn’t just look at how Kill Bill lines up with with the 7 classical planets, but the 7 Deadly Sins from medieval theology…

…and how we’ve managed to commit each one of those sins over the last decade at Aeolian Heart Astrology.
